Standard Research Center
The Standard Research Center is the leader of the Xiongan New Area Smart City Standards Joint Promotion Group. It is entrusted by the Xiongan New Area Management Committee and is responsible for the standardization of the Xiongan New Area Smart City. The main jobs are to develop strategic planning for standardization, construct standard system, and promote the implement of Xiongan standards and provide standardized training and consulting services. Meanwhile, as the centralized management department for group standards in the field of smart cities, the Standards Research Center fully stimulates vitality of the market’s vitality to independently formulate standards. It also promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, drives the construction of group standards in the field of smart cities, and organizes the promotion and application of group standards.
Xiongan New Area Standard System Framework
Based on the existing national standards, relevant local standards and industry standards, combined with the smart city construction goals and construction ideas of Xiongan New Area, smart city standard system framework in three categories and nine aspects is proposed.
The first category: Standards for the construction of smart infrastructure and perception systems (including smart perception terminals, communication networks, smart public infrastructure).
The second category: Intelligent application standards (including intelligent application of urban construction, intelligent application of urban management, intelligent application of public services, and application of new technologies).
The third category: Safety standards.

Standard development
The Standards Research Center is entrusted by the Xiongan New Area Management Committee and is responsible for the standardization of the Xiongan New Area Smart City. The center has established a database of high-end talent experts covering various fields of smart cities such as the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Communications, Integrated Geographic Information, Information Security, etc. We actively participate in the construction of the smart city standard system in Xiongan New District, and enrich the smart city standard content persistently. According to the standard system of the new district, we have participated in the compilation and publicly released several standardization guidelines, including “Internet of Things Terminal Construction Guideline (Road) for Xiongan New Area”, “Terminal Construction Guideline(Utility Tunnel) of Internet of Things for Xiongan New Area”, “Multifunctional Information Pole Construction Guideline for Xiongan New Area”, “Smart Site Construction Guideline for Xiongan New Area”, “Blockchain Coordination Regulation for Xiongan New Area”, “Data Security Construction Guideline for Xiongan New Area”, “Blockchain Technology Application Security Specification for Xiongan New Area” and other smart city standardization guidelines. More than dozens of local standards are being researched and planned. Among the group standards that have been established, the “Community Intelligent Construction Standard for Xiongan New Are” and “Digital Road Intelligent Classification Standard for Xiongan New Area” have been upgraded to local standards during the development process.

Application promotion
In the process of intelligent engineering project construction and application of intelligent technology, we coordinate with participating units in various links to make them adopt and implement standards, and effectively play the guiding role of standards. At the same time, we will track the application effects and feedback of the standards, update the standards in time and strive to maintain the advanced nature of the standards.
Host or undertake conferences, seminars, and training sessions of Xiongan smart city standards, actively publicize the local standards achievements of Xiongan New District, and strengthen publicity of smart city standards Xiongan New District. Moreover, explore the approaches to transforming mature and meaningful local standards to national standards.

Testing and certification
In view of the technical requirements of product specifications and parameters of applications in various scenarios of smart cities, a complete evaluation system is established to quantify the product evaluation process. Provide professional testing and certification services, build “Xiongan quality”, simplify the selection process, and promote the establishment of “Xiongan Brand”
